Harmanecká jaskyňa lies northwest of Banská Bystrica on the boundary of Veľka Fatra and Kremnické vrchy, near the town of Harmanec. Thanks to its characteristic snowy coloration, it acquired the name White Cave. The largest accessible section is called Dom pagôd (House of Pagodas), which is characterised by its massive pagoda-like formations. The symbol of the cave is the bright white rock vase, which is purported to fulfil the wish of anyone who can manage to toss in a coin.
